About Cyprus

It is considered to be the largest third party ship-management center within the EU and one of the largest in the world. Cyprus accounts for the management of some 4% of world tonnage. The maritime community is predominately based in Limassol where the majority of the shipping companies, maritime organizations and related government departments are located. This sunny island is a great place for work and play.

Cyprus is an island nestling at the north eastern corner of the Mediterranean Sea.  Following the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 the island remains divided with the north part still occupied.  This has not stopped the independent Republic of Cyprus developing into a modern international hub for business and commerce and a leading maritime center.
